Unleash the Power of CS:GO Dragon-Themed Skins - Hellcase Blog

People of Chinese heritage worldwide celebrate Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival. It is a time to come together with loved ones and friends to celebrate the start of the new year. Dragons symbolize good fortune and are a big part of culture and Chinese New Year celebrations.

As the eve of the Chinese New Year is coming soon, we will assemble all the CS:GO skins that feature dragons, and try and find a few good combinations for your loadout.

CS:GO Skins Inspired by Dragons

Dragons have been an essential part of Chinese mythology and cultural traditions throughout centuries, and they are to this day.

From the elaborate dragon dances that are a staple of Chinese New Year celebrations to the dragon motifs that adorn everything from architecture to artwork, dragons hold a special place in the hearts and minds of the Chinese people.

In traditional Chinese culture, dragons are seen as powerful and benevolent creatures associated with rain and water. According to beliefs, these mythical creatures bring good luck and prosperity to those who honor them.

During Chinese New Year celebrations, it is common to see dragon dances, for which performers dress up in dragon costumes and perform acrobatic feats to chase away evil. The dragon is also a common motif in decorations and other celebration elements.

Dragon-themed skins are popular among the CS:GO community as six of the dragon-themed skins we found are community-made. In addition, one of the game’s oldest and most expensive skins, AWP | Dragon Lore, has a dragon motif pictured on it. We saved this one for dessert. AWP | Dragon Lore is one of the rarest and most expensive skins. It was released as a part of The Cobblestone Collection in July, 2014.

Four years later, Valve removed Cobblestone from the Active Duty map pool, meaning containers with this skin would no longer drop. However, you can still purchase this legendary AWP skin on the market.

AWP | Dragon Lore is a custom-painted skin. The olive-painted AWP is decorated with a knotwork dragon spitting fire. Looking closely, you will spot Celtic ornaments on the dragon’s body. The sniper rifle’s scope, the barrel, and the back part of the buttstock feature a checkered pattern in black and green.
